I have been to the moon before. Telling the child that has been left out about the story of the moon. Looking back, when was the last time someone listened to me? Someday, maybe you’ll be able to go to the moon. The child clutched the pendant and ran off in the morning sun. 僕はね、昔、月まで行ったことがあるんだ。仲間外れにされたという子供に 月での出来事を聞かせる。思い返してみれば、 誰かが話を聞いてくれたのなんていつぶりだろうか。この子のように最後に まっすぐな笑顔を向けてくれたのは、月にいる彼らだったかもしれない。 お礼にこのペンダントをあげよう。かつて彼らから受け取った、 大切なものだ。君もいつか、もしかしたら月にいける日が くるかもしれないね。そして子供はペンダントを握り締め、朝日の中を 駆け出していった。
