Wanting to expand my tiny room, once the idea struck it was fast

By the next day, it was done — a handmade planetarium

科学kagakuのno本honにni書いてkaiteあったatta　作り方tsukuri kataのno他hokaにniアレンジarenji

Beyond what the science book said, I added my own arrangements

実在jitsuzaiしないshinai穴anaをwo開けてakete　恥ずかしいhazukashii名前namae付けたtsuketa

Poked holes for stars that don't exist and gave them embarrassing names

消えそうなkiesou naくらいkurai　輝いててkagayaitete

Shining so bright it could vanish

I reached out my hand to touch it

Without ever opening the window, I had everything

Without hurting or being hurt, I finally locked you away

The closer I got, the farther I pushed away

I had given up on touching

背伸びsenobiしたらshitara　驚くodoroku程hodo容易くtayasuku

When I stood on tiptoe, astonishingly easily

I touched it

I should have stopped

Obviously, it really did reach — but
